Rock Health Names Joanne Rohde, CEO of Axial Exchange, “Top 50 in Digital Health”

Axial Exchange, Inc., a pioneer in using mobile apps to deepen the patient’s role in improving outcomes, today announced that Rock Health, a full-service investment firm who funds early stage healthcare companies, has recognized Axial Exchange’s CEO, Joanne Rohde, as one of the “Top 50 in Digital Health.” Rock Health will honor award recipients at the JP Morgan 32nd Annual Health Conference in San Francisco on January 12, 2014.

A panel of judges from Rock Health and leading finance and investment firms, including Goldman Sachs, Silicon Valley Bank and Fenwick & West LLP, selected this year’s “Top 50.” Winners were chosen based on their contributions to the healthcare industry, specifically acknowledging those that made exceptional progress in driving resources, attention and innovation towards improving healthcare IT.

“This award is a great recognition for the Axial team’s work in the digital health industry and we are honored to be named alongside some of the best and brightest companies in healthcare IT,” said Joanne Rohde, CEO of Axial Exchange. “This recognition is a testament to Axial’s commitment to improving patient engagement through mobile health solutions and we are looking forward to accepting this honor and collaborating with our peers at the JP Morgan Conference.”

Axial’s patient engagement applications are designed to enhance patient literacy about medical conditions, improve medication adherence and reduce readmissions by providing patients with access to health information when and where they need it. Its solutions, which are currently used by more than 70 provider organizations across the U.S., help to improve patient engagement and clinical outcomes and ultimately help reduce healthcare costs.
