Axial Exchange Selected to Demo Leading Patient Engagement Application at Health 2.0 Fall Conference


Axial Exchange (Axial), a pioneer in using mobile apps to deepen the patient’s role in improving outcomes, today announced that its CEO, Joanne Rohde, was selected to present two live product demonstrations at the 2013 Health 2.0 Fall Conference. Rohde will demonstrate Axial’s mobile patient engagement application on September 29th during the “Doctor’s 2.0” pre-conference session and will also showcase its solution on October 1st during the “Platforms for Partnership: Tools for Communication” breakout session. During each session, Rohde will exhibit how the company’s mobile patient interface can be used for procedure education, medication adherence and improved patient engagement. This is the third consecutive year that Axial has been selected to demonstrate its patient engagement apps at the Health 2.0 conference.



Joanne Rohde, CEO of Axial Exchange, brings 30 years of relevant business experience to Axial Exchange. At Axial, Rohde has spearheaded many corporate initiatives in order to lead the company to national recognition, including: attracting Mayo Clinic as a business partner and investor, winning the HHS/ONC Transition of Care Contest, and being selected as a “Company to Watch” at Morgenthaler’s prestigious DC to VC conference. Prior to founding Axial Exchange, Rohde served as the COO and Director of Health IT Strategy at Red Hat where she and her team created a new operational and service model that propelled Red Hat through the “J curve” of revenue growth from $100 to $500 million. Rohde has also served as the COO of UBS Investment Banking IT.



The “Doctor’s 2.0” pre-conference session will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. PST.

The “Platforms for Partnership: Tools for Communication” product demo will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11:25 a.m. PST.
